Il Palazzetto occupies an exclusive location at the top of the Spanish Steps. Built in the 1500s for a noble Roman family, the villa underwent a thorough restoration in 1999 when Roberto E. Wirth, President and Managing Director of the renowned Hotel Hassler, acquired the building to establish this unique property. Il Palazzetto offers four well-appointed boutique hotel rooms on its third and fourth floors, three of which overlook the Spanish Steps. Their relaxed yet luxurious décor offers guests extreme comfort, conveying the sense of a private residence but with the advantage of being located just steps away from the renowned Hotel Hassler, where impeccable service and fine dining reign supreme. At the Hassler Hotel, IL Palazetto guests can enjoy full use of their facilities and a cornucopia of amenities that include Continental breakfast at the Palm Court Restaurant, the Amorvero SPA’s wellness and fitness center, a seventh floor panoramic guest terrace, business center, and more. This relationship enables guests to reside like the Romans do, but with the benefit of being able to step into the exclusive world of the renowned Hassler Hotel as they wish.
