Four Seasons Hotel Firenze

Four Seasons Hotel Firenze is located in a former Renaissance palazzo, conventino, and centuries-old private park in the middle of Florence—all transformed into an enchanted oasis of hospitality for traveling families. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the beautifully appointed rooms and suites, park-like setting, outdoor pool, and full service spa that features treatments for both adults and children. There are also special children’s menus, served on delightful, hand-painted ceramics by Richard Ginori, who designed the hotel’s serving ware, and a number of activities like yoga in the park and movie night designed to engage parents and children. The 11-acre Giardino della Gherardesca features over 200 different species of plants and trees, making it the largest private garden in Florence and an interesting botanical lesson for older children and adults. Outside the hotel, both the Uffizi and the Duomo are only a short stroll away, while tours of the rest of the city and nearby Tuscan hill towns can be booked though the concierge. For culinary adventure, the hotel’s Il Palagio restaurant features the best service, freshest local ingredients, and perfectly prepared authentic Tuscan classics flawlessly paired with wine from the hotel’s cellars.

Rooms: 116 guestrooms and suites—no two alike—located in Palazzo della Gherardesca and the Conventino; 72 rooms, 20 junior suites, and 24 suites.
